The reason behind the Indian attack:
India’s assault on Pakistan is based on assumptions. In a recent Pahalgam attack in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India alleged that Pakistan was responsible for this attack. On the basis of their false and evidence-free allegation, India targeted Pakistan. It also tried to ruin the peace within Pakistan. However, Pakistan has dismissed the allegation and said that it has no affiliation with the attack. Besides believing in Pakistan, India fired missiles at different locations within Pakistan.
Pakistan’s retaliation:
DG-ISPR stated that Pakistan retaliated against India’s attack. Pakistan has firmly stated that India has to pay in case it attacks Pakistan’s territory. In fact, Pakistan has also called out the UNSC to focus on the matter and observed Indian moves that are aimed at damaging the peace of Pakistan.
Right after Pakistan’s appeal to the UNSC, India shot its missiles. Pakistan, in return, hit 5 Indian fighter jets. The step was taken because India has violated the airspace limitation.
DG-ISPR said that Pakistan’s action was a retaliation against India’s attack on Pakistan. India has started the war, not Pakistan. Pakistan has always hoped to sustain peace in the region, but if India keeps damaging the peace of the region, Pakistan retaliates likewise but even harsher than before.
He also stated that Pakistan retaliated without violating the airspace limitations. However, India violated the airspace limitation and endangered the lives of civilians. At the time of the attack, there were 57 civilian air flights. Thus, India’s attack was pre-planned and aimed to target innocent Pakistani civilians.
He also said that in a defensive move against India’s attack, Pakistan had attacked India’s infantry brigade headquarters. As per the security sources, the footage shows Pakistan’s retaliation.
Politician’s reactions:
President Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan will never compromise on its integrity and sovereignty. If the opponents do not stop, then Pakistan will also fire back. There would be no second choice for the peace of the region.
Shahbaz Sharif also condemned the attack. He called out a cunning India and said that it would face severe consequences due to their cowardly attack.
