Pakistan rejects media rumors about border closure:
In an escalating situation, Indian media is spreading the news that Pakistan has closed the Wagah border for Pakistani nationals in India. The Indian media is circulating the news that Pakistan disowned Pakistani Nationals coming from India, and now the citizens are stuck between the Wagah and Attari checkpoints. After hearing these rumors, the Foreign Office appears on the scene. According to FO, Pakistan did not close the border and clarified that the Wagah-Attari border was open and remained operational until April 30.
Rising tensions after Kashmir attack:
After the Pahalgam attack, Indian media spread false news. Indian media stated that Pakistan is disowning its citizens at the Wagah border. However, it did not give any evidence to support its allegation. Pakistan has strongly denied these allegations and asked for an impartial investigation. India revoked visas issued to Pakistani nationals and ordered them to leave the country by April 29. Its revocation disrupted the lives of many families and patients who were in India for urgent reasons.

He directed the Director General of Health to immediately get in touch with the family and begin the process.
Government steps to help affected patients:
Minister Kamal further stated that the Prime Minister’s Office had been informed and that the Health Ministry had already begun coordinating with local hospitals. One of the treatment options being considered is the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC). The minister promised that no effort would be spared to ensure the two girls receive the best care possible.

Pakistan has cleared the stance and stressed that it never disowned its citizens. It also said that the Wagah border will never be closed for its citizens. Pakistan had never intended to do so, nor even tried to do so in the future. It called on India to act responsibly and allow the crossing of Pakistani nationals who wish to go home.
