Pakistan summons Indian diplomat:

After the Pahalgam attack, India called out Pakistani diplomats and ordered them to leave the country with all the Pakistani nationals within 48 hours. Pakistan has handed over a formal written statement to India’s recent hostile actions. It shows a formal protest against India’s action of suspending the Indus-Water treaty.

Indian military officials ordered to leave Pakistan:

India has expelled Pakistani officials from India. That is why Pakistan has also expelled India’s defense, air, and naval officials along with their full staff from Pakistan. Analysts see both actions as an escalating diplomatic standoff between the two nations.

Staff at the Indian embassy in Islamabad reduced:

Pakistan has made a decision in which it ordered to minimise the Indian staff to 30 officials with the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. This downsizing reflects Pakistan’s strong disapproval of India’s unilateral decisions and signals a cooling of diplomatic ties.

Sikh pilgrims got privileged:

Pakistan ordered all Indian officials to leave the country except Sikh pilgrims. The Sikh pilgrims visit religious sites in Pakistan under an agreement between the two nations. Pakistan’s retaliation gives a strong message to India that it will never compromise on its sovereignty.

The Foreign Office informed the Indian envoy:

The Foreign Office has informed the Indian envoy about Pakistan’s actions against India’s abrupt moves. It also said that Pakistan is retaliating against India’s baseless moves. India’s allegation is based on assumptions, and the suspension of the Indus Water treaty forced Pakistan to make such decisions.

Foreign secretary warns of Indian escalation:

Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch met with foreign diplomats and ambassadors stationed in Islamabad. She informed them about the current situation after the Pahalgam incident. She, however, said that India’s allegations without any proof are a threat to peace and stability in South Asia.
