Pakistan Strategizes Response To India's Recent Diplomatic Actions - AAMNEWSHUB.COM

After a dreadful attack on the civilians in Pahalgam, India closed the border and took strict security measures against Pakistan.

NSC meets to chart Pakistan’s strategy:

India alleged Pakistan’s involvement in the Pahalgam attack. Without giving evidence, India has closed the border, cut diplomatic ties and banned Pakistan’s X account in India. To answer India, the National Security Committee (NSC) held its meeting today. Pakistan expressed its sorrow over the tragic incident and denied its involvement.

India’s harsh actions against Pakistan:

India, without any secondary thought, closed the Attari border checkpost. Moreover, it suspended the Indus Water Treaty. It also ordered Pakistani citizens to leave India within 48 hours. Pakistan’s top diplomat was also taught to leave the country, but before he was summoned to appear in New Delhi.

Attack in Pahalgam triggers crisis:

Since 2000, it is the first-ever attack in which 26 civilians lost their lives. The gunmen opened fire on visitors and injured 17. The Indian government and media blamed Pakistan for this heinous crime. Pakistan, though, dismissed these allegations and condemned the incident.

Shehbaz calls NSC meeting:

After getting a severe response from India, Shehbaz Sharif ultimately called out the NSC meeting. The meeting’s agenda is based on creating a strong reaction to what Pakistan is calling a “false flag operation” in Pahalgam. Ishaq Dar confirmed that the civil and military leaders would analyze the internal and external situation to formulate measures against India’s baseless, abrupt and impractical decisions.

India faces criticism over “Water Warfare”:

India has suspended the Indus Water treaty. Power Minister Awais Leghari described it as “water warfare.” He warned that the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty was an illegal, meaningless and dangerous approach. He stated, “Every drop of water is ours by right, and we will defend it legally, politically, and globally.” Water Resources Minister Mian Moeen Wattoo reminded India that the water treaty agreement has international backing. India can not make decisions alone. He warned India to respond firmly to any Indian aggression or pressure.

Diplomatic fallout and Global concerns:

On Tuesday, India’s Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) held a meeting in which the meeting gave a briefing about the attack. The Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that no Pakistani national is allowed to stay in India under previously issued visas. He also talked about India’s other actions after the attack. He said that the diplomatic staff in both countries would be reduced, and the security across borders would be increased.

Pakistan calls India’s reaction “Immature”:

Ishaq Dar said that India’s reaction after the Pahalgam attack was childish, baseless, and impractical without any concrete proof. He stated, “This is a non-serious, irresponsible approach. They didn’t investigate. They just jumped to conclusions.” He also added that India’s such response may initiate another wave of rivalry between both countries.

India vows “Loud and Clear” response:

India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated, “Those behind this attack will hear our answer loud and clear.” He did not mention any specific group or country but promised to ruin the ones who were involved in this crime.
