Israel’s Internal Clashes Resulted In The Dethrone Of Defence Minister From Parliament
Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallants’ dispute over several affairs, particularly the Gaza conflict, ended up with the resignation of Gallant from Parliament.
Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies in the ongoing Gaza conflict were in talks. They are criticized for their massacre in Gaza, Palestine. The ongoing conflict does not only occur outside Israel but also within the ministers of Israel.
The Israeli Defence Minister was shown repeatedly arguing with Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister. Both of them were not on a single path. They have different viewpoints on the Gaza conflict. Gallant said that one should not step down from his goals.
His stance in the Gaza Conflict is contradictory to Netanyahu and his allies. Gallant said that he has decided to leave his post in order to respect his long-lasting vision. He stated that after a thorough analysis, I decided to resign as a Defence Minister in the Israeli Parliament. He further added that sometimes, we have to take crucial steps to act upon our motive.
Several talks were moving around about Netanyahu and his disagreements over other affairs like the military and others. In 2023, Gallant stood against Netanyahu’s decision to reduce the power of the Israeli Supreme Court. Netanyahu had to step back from the decision as people came out of their houses in huge numbers and started to protest. That is how Netanyahu changed his decision.
It must be in notice that a warrant has been issued against Netanyahu, Gallant and the Hamas leaders for the massacre in Gaza. It was also said that a heavy fine would be imposed on them. However, Israel’s ministry has refused such news.
