CIIC And BRISD Collaborate To Advance Skill Development Initiatives

To improve workforce development and vocational training, “the Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Development (BRISD) and CIIC International Education Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.” have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Strengthening collaboration among nations involved in the Belt and Road effort (BRI) is the goal of this effort. With a first test project in Pakistan, the agreement calls for the provision of possibilities for human resource development and technical skills training.
As per details “Duan Xiaofei, the general manager of CIIC International Education, and Qaiser Nawab, the chairman of BRISD”, signed the contract. More than 100,000 Pakistani youngsters, of whom 65% are under 30, are to benefit from the program.
Beneficial Contracts
The organization will place a major focus on workforce development and vocational training, ensuring that young people acquire high-quality skills and are placed in appropriate jobs. Additionally, the partnership will promote knowledge exchange across areas and boost CPEC initiatives. The initial period, which will be extended to additional BRI nations in the next few years, will begin in Pakistan in July 2025.

BRISD Chairman Qaiser Nawab emphasized the collaboration’s long-term effects in remarks to the media during the signing ceremony. “This initiative creates fresh possibilities for youngsters and industries across the Belt and Road by bridging the gap among creativity and heritage,” he said.
His viewpoint was supported by Duan Xiaofei, general manager of CIIC International Education, who emphasized the value of technical education in generating closer cultural and professional links amongst Pakistan and China.
In order to promote CPEC projects and encourage information exchange across regions, the agreement outlines important areas for collaboration, such as “industry-academia cooperation, skills certification, and vocational training”.
This MOU’s signature has received a lot of media attention, which has strengthened its implications for promoting workforce development in BRI nations. The program is in line with China’s overall economic plan for 2025, which emphasizes technological innovation and sustainable growth.
