Multan Sultans Secure First Win In PSL X Opener

In the 12th match of the PSL season 10, Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by “33 runs”, finally opening their account.
The Sultans won the Pakistan Super League for the 1st time this season in the exciting match that took place in Multan.
Yasir Khan Is Bsng Bang
Multan Sultans won the toss and chose to bat 1st. In their 20 overs, they scored an incredible 228 runs for 5 wickets. With a blazing “87 off 44 balls”, opener Yasir Khan started the attack, with skipper Muhammad Rizwan adding in “32 runs”.

Meanwhile Iftikhar Ahmed played a crucial role in the finish with a rapid “44 off only 18 deliveries”, while Usman Khan contributed “39 runs”. Ashton Turner contributed “15 runs”.
Brilliant Bowling Attack By Multan Sultan
Lahore Qalandars’ answer was insufficient as they finished their innings at “195 runs for 9 wickets”. Lahore failed to maintain the necessary run rate in spite of battling knocks from “Sam Billings 43 runs, and Sikandar Raza 50 runs”.
While “Mohammad Naeem scored 11 runs, Daryl Mitchell scored 19 runs, and Fakhar Zaman scored 22 runs, were all easily dismissed”.
Ubaid Shah took three wickets and Usama Mir took two as Multan’s bowling attack held solid. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Asif Afridi each took one wicket, and Rashid Hussain also made two dismissals.
Multan Sultans, who had dropped their last three PSL 10 games, needed to win this game. After winning the toss, captain Muhammad Rizwan said, “We’ll try to do everything possible to win in Multan,” expressing confidence in his team’s home record.
His prediction came true as the Sultans put up a strong show. Multan has had a difficult time in PSL X, but this victory raises their spirits and puts them higher in the standings.
In contrast, Lahore Qalandars has already won twice in PSL 10, but this loss may force them to reconsider their approach. Multan Sultans now lead the two teams in their head-to-head record in the PSL-10 with 10 victories from 19 matches, while Lahore Qalandars have 9 victories.
