Indian jets retreat after PAF scramble:
Indian jets are seen in the sky, ready to enter and attack Pakistan’s territory. After noticing the Indian jets, Pakistan also scrambled its jets. Resultantly, Indian Rafale jets stepped back. PTV news confirmed the news.
India blames Pakistan without evidence:
India declared Pakistan was responsible for the Pahalgam attack. However, it did not give any proof to affirm its allegation. Pakistan, on the other hand, rejected these allegations and asked for an independent investigation of the attack. However, India did not respond to Pakistan’s offering. The Indian ministry also permitted the military to respond to the unrest.

Pakistan on high alert:
Pakistani media and politicians are indicating high alert in Pakistan. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also said that the troops are settled at the Line of Control. He also informed that Pakistan is all set to defend its territory. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan had received information about the Indian military strike within 24 to 36 hours. He accused India of a non-sense move without giving any evidence.
Pakistan urges the global community to intervene:
The Pakistani minister asked the global community to intervene. Attaullah Tara said that Pakistan has always discouraged terrorist attacks. He, however, asserted that Pakistan has never been a part of such crimes because it understands the pain and the loss that occur due to terrorism. He also called out to International communities to have a look at India’s motive behind the Pahalgam attack and said that India would be responsible for further unrest. He clearly warned India and said, “Pakistan will defend its sovereignty at all costs.”
Indian drones shot down:
The air violation by India forced Pakistan to take defensive measures. The Pakistani army has seen Indian drones violating Pak-India air limitations. Due to this Pakistan Army hit two Indian surveillance drones. One drone was taken down in Bhimber’s Manawar sector, and the other in Poonch’s Sarwal sector. These incidents occurred during an exchange of fire in Leepa Valley. Thus, the incidents have escalated the situation.
Cyberattacks foiled:
Pakistan’s IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja confirmed that several Indian cyberattacks targeting government websites had been successfully blocked. The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (N-Cert) issued a warning to media outlets and content creators to avoid sharing sensitive security information.
Imran Khan calls for peace and unity:
The former premier Imran Khan, through his social media account, said that India should not mistake Pakistan’s silence as its weakness. We know how to react towards brutality. He, however, also stressed that everyone should be united in this situation. In addition, he also called for peace.
The Indian military is autonomous to strike:
Indian Prime Minister Modi permitted the Indian military to decide how and when to respond to the Pahalgam attack. In video clips viral on social media, Modi is seen doing meetings with military and national security chiefs. He also vowed to punish everyone who is involved in this crime.
Global mediation efforts underway:
Iran has offered to mediate between India and Pakistan. Moreover, Saudi Arabia also confirmed making efforts to reduce the tension between them. Ishaq Dar has also contacted the foreign ministers of several countries, including China, the UAE, the UK, and Turkiye, to brief them on Pakistan’s position. The United Nations Secretary-General has offered its support to de-escalate the tension.
