According to reports, the traffic strategy for the 23rd of March Pakistan Day festivities was made public by the Islamabad Traffic Police.

The plan calls for stopping the entry of heavy trucks into Islamabad between (12 p.m. on the 22nd of March and 3 p.m. on March 23rd). On the 23rd of March from (6 a.m. to 1 p.m.), the Srinagar Highway will be blocked between (7th Avenue and Koral Chowk).

Other routes that commuters from Bahara Kahu might use are “Club Road, Pak-China Road, Rawal Dam Chowk, and Kashmir Chowk”. The “Taxila Motorway, Tarnol Phatak to Fateh Jang Motorway”, can handle heavy traffic from “Peshawar to Lahore”.

Furthermore, Chakri Road may be used to access the “Chakri Motorway from Lahore’s GT Road to Islamabad and Rawalpindi”. The “Taxila Motorway, Chakri, Chakri Road, and Rawat” are the routes available to commuters going from “Peshawar to Rawat”.

Important Day Held On Small Scale Due To Respect Of Ramadan

To stop any disruption, people are advised by the Islamabad Traffic Police to plan their routes ahead of time. Due to the holy month of Ramadan, it is crucial to note that the March 23rd Pakistan Day festivities will be held on a smaller scale while preserving the occasion’s spirit and excitement.

With participation from all 3-arms of the military, the Pakistan Day Parade will take place on the grounds of the Aiwan-e-Sadr (Presidential Palace). The principal visitor will be President Asif Ali Zardari, and the military contingents will salute him.

The famous Pipe and Percussion Band of the Pakistan Army will also play musically, while Pakistan Air Force fighter planes will fly by the Presidential Palace. The event has also been extended an invitation to foreign diplomats and other notable visitors.
