The chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Dr. Raghib Naeemi, has called out the people for a safe protest and urged people to fully boycott Israeli products.

A bold voice against injustice:

Dr. Naeemi has openly declared Israel a terrorist and criminal state. He vividly stated that Pakistan, including Muslim and Non-Muslim communities, must boycott Israeli and Israeli products. He called out to people out there for a peaceful protest against the brutality of Israel on the innocent people of Gaza, Palestine.

Call for a peaceful protest:

Dr. Naeemi also reminded the public to make sure that this protest stays peaceful. He said, “We must avoid violence and protect human lives and property during this campaign.” He, however, said that we do not want to disturb the peace of the nearby. We only want to send a strong and united message to the world about Israel’s brutality. That is why a peaceful protest without any chaos should be focused on.

Non-stop violence in Gaza:

Dr. Naeemi pointed out that Israel’s aggression has now continued for almost one and a half years. Israel’s continued violence against Palestinians has brought endless pain and destruction to the lives of the Gaza people. He also said, “Even after a ceasefire agreement was signed just a few weeks ago, Israel restarted its bombing, this time even more brutally.”

The world’s silence is alarming:

Dr. Naeemi is very upset with the world’s powerful countries. These countries can make a difference, but they are silent. That is increasing the tension of Naeem. He stated, “Where are the defenders of human rights now? How can the world watch silently as families are being torn apart and entire neighborhoods destroyed?” He urged global leaders and international organizations to speak up and take action. Words of sympathy are no longer enough. Concrete steps must be taken to pressure Israel to stop its crimes.

Economic boycott:

Dr. Naeemi holds the view that a complete economic boycott is a peaceful yet powerful way to fight injustice. He warned, “Every time we buy an Israeli product, we are unknowingly funding their violence. We must stop supporting companies that directly or indirectly benefit Israel.” He encouraged everyone to think carefully before purchasing.

In addition he also said that people should also raise awareness among others about Israeli products so the boycotting can be easier. He also said, “Boycotting isn’t just about stopping purchases. It’s about taking a stand. It’s about showing that we care for the people of Gaza and we will not fund their suffering.”

A call to conscience:

Dr.Naeemi said that it is the right time to evaluate ourselves, whether we are with the oppressor or oppressed. He, however, said that we should not be silent in this crucial time. He urged people across the globe to unite in peaceful protest. “Let’s turn our sympathy into action. Let’s show the world that we stand with Gaza, and we will not back down.”
