Bodies Of 8 Pakistani Workers Killed In Iran Repatriated To Bahawalpur

Late on 16th of April 2025 Wednesday night, a special plane brought the bodies of “8 Pakistanis” who had been brutally murdered in Iran to Bahawalpur airport.
Before returning to Pakistan, the plane landed in the Iranian city of Zahedan to pick up the dead.
Both civic and military leaders attended a sorrowful sympathy service at the airport in remembrance of the departed. Iranian leaders also attended the event and paid respects to the Pakistanis who were killed, particularly the governor of Zahedan and other high-ranking officials.

Later, the remains were taken to the deceased’s hometown of Ahmedpur Sharqia.
“The hamlet of Hazabad, in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province’s Mehrstan region, saw the deaths of eight Pakistanis on Saturday 12th of April.
While employed in a workshop, the victims, who were described as mechanics, were shot and killed. According to claims in the Iranian media, the people who died were mechanics.
“The victims include Dilshad, the proprietor of the workshop, and his son Naeem, as well as Jafar, Danish, and Nasir, who are all from Punjab.”
The unjust attack on Pakistani civilians was strongly criticized by the Iranian embassy. According to the Iranian Embassy spokeswoman, “terrorism is a continual cancer and an ongoing threat to every nation in the world.” According to the embassy, peace and stability are being targeted by dishonest groups working with foreign terrorists.
