New Zealand Secures 2-0 Lead By Defeating Pakistan In 2nd T20I Match

In the 2nd Twenty20 International at the University Oval, Pakistan lost by (5) wickets due to a strong performance by New Zealand’s bowlers and batsmen. Pakistan now has a challenging task to survive after the hosts built a (2-0) advantage in the (5) match series.
In addition Tim Seifert and Finn Allen, the opening pair, blasted their way to a (66) run partnership after their bowlers set an atmosphere for New Zealand’s success. Allen’s “38 off 16 balls” and Seifert’s blazing “45 from 22 deliveries” left Pakistan’s bowlers shaking.
Haris Rauf had a late burst of (2) wickets, but New Zealand’s batters held the upper hand. With (11) balls remaining, Mitchell Hay and captain Michael Bracewell led the home team to win.
Again Pakistan Team Batting Order Collapsed
Pakistan’s batting problems kept going as they were unable to reach a fighting score. In an otherwise poor performance, Agha Salman’s “46 off 28 deliveries” was the only bright point. As the visitors’ top order collapsed, Hasan Nawaz was dismissed for the 2nd time in a row.

To take out Pakistan’s batting, New Zealand’s bowlers, headed by “Duffy, Sears, Sodhi, and Neesham, each took (2) wickets”. Pakistan never generated momentum because of the hosts’ diligent fielding performance.
The Black Caps’ bowling effort was outstanding; they took many wickets and restricted Pakistan’s chances for scoring runs. ” Ish Sodhi, Ben Sears, Jimmy Neesham, and Jacob Duffy” were among the bowlers from New Zealand who took (2) wickets again to limit Pakistan’s batting efforts.
Pakistan has a difficult challenge ahead of them as the series moves to Queenstown for the 3rd Twenty20 International. On the other hand, New Zealand will want to win the series by achieving a stunning success. The John Davies Oval in Queenstown will host the 3rd Twenty20 International on the 21st of March.
