CM Punjab Launches Special Programs For Children With Disabilities

Following the health screening of (40,000) children with disabilities around the state, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has mandated the free treatment of kids who have been diagnosed with a variety of illnesses.
During a meeting, she was told that the province has implemented a face registration system for attendance at schools for the 1st time.
The “Special People Employment Programme “and the proposal to introduce a “Rising Star Card” and packed lunch programme for special youngsters were approved by the CM. Additionally, the “Eidi Program” of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been authorized for them.

Moreover, the CM authorized the distribution of (9) electric buses for the children with disabilities and mandated that special education centers undergo a performance review every (6) months.
She gave the SACM (special assistant to the chief minister) instructions “to be in close communication with the parents of special needs children”. For “kids with special needs, more cameras will be placed in classrooms and on buses”.
Whereas “special education budget ‘ring fortification’ has been carried out for the first time under the guidance of CM Maryam Nawaz. She gave instructions on how to set up an external assessment system for the special needs kids.”
