Justin Baldoni, an American actor and director, received a solidarity award for advocating for women and girls by Vital Voices.
Blake Lively filed a legal complaint against him and his team. Due to this, his solidarity award was refused by the organization.

Justin Baldoni received an honourable award for showing support and courage to the women and girls out there. He received this token of love and honour on December 9.

The organisation decided to decline the solidarity award to Baldoni after Lively’s legal complaint against him and his companions. Blake Lively, one of the famous American actresses, described Baldoni’s and other’s behaviour at Wayfarer Studio as disturbing and shameful.

Vital Voices is a social service organisation in Washington. The organisation had informed Baldoni that Lively’s case filed against him did not align with the values of the organisation. That is why the team has decided to nullify your solidarity award for being part of an offence and getting back this pearl of peace.

Sony Pictures released the film It Ends With Us. A company representative told the Hollywood reporter regarding the complaint by Lively. He said that we have always supported Blake for her outstanding performance in the film. At the same time, we show our deepest support to her clearly and definitively. Moreover, we categorically reject all the attacks on her reputation. All such attacks have no place in our business or civil society.

Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) also showed its support for Lively. While talking to media the Guild stated that any misconduct with the artist will not be cherished. Employees have full rights to speak against such ill-treatments. We are happy and praise Lively for speaking against Baldoni and his team for their misconduct. Moreover, we condemn such ill-treatments in the future.

The Guild also showed support to the artists who had faced or are facing the same situation as Lively faced. The Guild said that we are happy that Blake had taken the first step against offence and paved the way for the other artists to move forward.
