Islamabad United Triumphs Over Lahore Qalandars In PSL X Opening Match

Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars comfortably on Friday 11th of April 2025 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium to begin the Pakistan Super League (PSL) X season 10.
With just (2) wickets lost and (14) balls remaining, the current champions easily chased down the goal of (140).
After losing rookie starter Andries Gous in the 2nd over with just (8) runs scored, the home club had a difficult start to their run chase.
Munro Is Perform Bang Bang
Following this early loss, Sahibzada Farhan and Colin Munro stepped out to bat together, and the two of them recovered by scoring (55) runs for the 2nd wicket. Farhan, who scored (25) runs off of (24) balls, was bowled out by Haris Rauf in the 9th over, though.

The squad won because of “Munro’s (80) run partnership with Salman Ali Agha, which was the match winning partnership”.

Fakhar Zaman was dismissed for just (1) run in the 2nd inning, giving the Qalandars a bad start to their innings.
