Sources reported that the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had arrested (12) people, which involved (4) women, during crackdowns nationwide.

An Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) representative said that during the operations, over (19.876) kilograms of drugs worth more than (9.6) million PKR were taken away. The official also said that during one of the arrests, a woman who was planning to travel to – Riyadh – was captured, and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) also found (75) capsules filled with heroin covered in her stomach.

Following an additional raid near – IJP Road in Islamabad, Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials collected (6) kilograms of cannabis from a suspect.

In the meantime, (3) people were arrested with (3.5) kg of heroin in the – Johar Town – area of Lahore; (2) suspects were arrested after (2.670) kg of cannabis were recovered from a vehicle in (G-10) Islamabad.

Whereas a woman was taken into custody with (2.5) kg of opium near a – hotel – in Hyderabad; another woman was arrested with (2) kg of ice (crystal meth) near the – Al-Asif bus terminal – on Airport Road in Quetta. Moreover (1.280) kg of cannabis was found in a package headed for (Lahore and Karachi) at a – courier office – in Peshawar; and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) also captured (1.3) kg of ice from a vehicle near – Kak Pul Stop – on the Islamabad Expressway and taken into custody (2) suspects.
