On Thursday 2nd of January 2025 in a gesture of goodwill and unity between the (2) close countries, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent Pakistan (100 tons) of dates.

The consignment was formally presented to {Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General of the Military Wing, by Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief)}, during a handover ceremony at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the federal capital.

Through this sincere act, the Saudi Arabian government, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, continued its yearly tradition of giving generously and pointed out its commitment to helping the people of Pakistan.

The present is a perfect example of both nations’ long-lasting friendship and brotherly ties, which are based on their shared ideals of charity and assistance to one another.

Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub used the opportunity to thank the Saudi authorities and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for their continuous support and kindness toward Pakistan.

According to Brigadier Ayub, “this admirable expression of support not only deepens our connections but also shows the important relationship our nation’s enjoy.”

In an effort to strengthen its humanitarian outreach and promote bilateral ties with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia donates dates every year.
