Police Monitor Wedding Venues In Karachi for Security

In an effort to reduce the number of air incidents of fire, Karachi police officials gave strict directions aimed at wedding location administrators.
As per the specifics, it has been determined to involve wedding hall management in court cases in the event that gunfire takes place off-site during events. Police officers at the district level have been directed to make sure that this regulation is strictly enforced.
Station house officers (SHOs) in Karachi have been instructed by the police to give advance notice to wedding venue managements under their jurisdiction. Additionally, anyone caught using aerial fire during celebrations held within wedding halls would be prosecuted.
Deaths And Injuries
Police authorities in Karachi also revealed intentions to use posters placed across the city to educate the public about aerial fire and make efforts to prevent this risky behavior.

There have been several reports of fatalities and injuries from aerial shooting events in Karachi. Aerial gunfire recently disturbed Karachi’s New Year festivities in many locations, injuring over (29) people, mostly (women and children).
There were instances of air shooting at (Liaquatabad, Tariq Road, Shah Faisal, Orangi Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Azizabad, and Korangi), among other locations in the city.
Even (3) persons were injured by aerial fire in Liaquatabad. In which (2) women were injured in aerial shooting events reported by (Shah Faisal and Tariq Road).
While (2) persons were hurt in (Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Orangi Town). On New Year’s Eve, a celebration fire in Azizabad wounded a youngster. Additionally, (3) bullet injury instances were recorded by (Gulzar-e-Hijri and Korangi No. 6).
On New Year’s Eve, (2) individuals in (Agra Taj, Malir Kala Board, Tipu Sultan, Ferozeabad, and Alfalah Dastagir), as well as (3) in (Lyari and Aram Bagh), reported gunshot injuries.
