India Has Challenges Due To Pakistan's Qualifying For The Women's World Cup - AAMNEWSHUB.COM

After defeating Thailand in the 12th match in the current qualifier, the host nation, Pakistan, became the 1st side to earn a spot in the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

The women’s squad from Pakistan won “4 of their 4 games”, and they will play Bangladesh in their 5th and final match.

Even so, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the tournament’s host, is facing further logistical difficulties as a result of their qualifying for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

A neutral location will host the 2 sides’ matches in the ICC competitions till 2027, following the contract among the BCCI and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

When India declined to send a team to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy, an agreement was struck earlier this year. Rather, all of India’s matches, including their group stage match versus Pakistan, were held in Dubai.

According to the agreement, “a neutral location will host the Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2025 (hosted by India), the T20 World Cup in 2026 (hosted by India and Sri Lanka), and the Pakistan-India Champions Trophy in 2025 (hosted by Pakistan)”. Teams playing Pakistan’s women’s squad in the 2025 World Cup will have to travel to a friendly location, much like in the Champions Trophy. According to the deal among the PCB and the BCCI, the games will also be transferred outside of India if Pakistan advances to the final 4 or the championship match.
