Kurrams’ region is becoming an insecure land to live in. Clashes among tribes lead to the death of people. To make it a peaceful land, the KPK government has started demolishing bunkers from the Kurram.

The district administration started its process of dismantling bunkers from the region. The administration department gave a deadline for demolishing one bunker from each of the two opposite villages. As per the deadline, the district administration gave time till February 1 to ensure the completion of the task.

The District Administration made several teams to ensure the safety of the region. Deputy Commissioner Kurram Ashfaq Khan said that we have made a peace agreement with Kohat. As per this peace agreement, all bunkers from the district should be removed, and the weapons from both tribes should be handed over to the concerned security staff by February 1.

He also added that law enforcement agencies will also cooperate with these teams to ensure the easy demolition of bunkers from the region. He also said that all these processes will not have any role in Section 144 imposed in a region. It will remain in the region.
