War resumed:

The Israeli military resumed attacking the Gaza Strip. The military thus ordered the Gaza people to leave the Rafah area. Moreover, many countries have called on Israel to stop its brutality toward the Gaza people. Despite listening to their requests, the Israeli military intensified its attack.

Civilians ordered to evacuate:

The Israeli army dropped leaflets on Tal al-Sultan. It warned civilians to leave. Military spokesperson Avichay Adraee confirmed that the strikes were directed at what Israel calls terrorist organizations. The situation has left many Palestinians displaced, struggling for food and shelter.

Food and aid scarcity worsens:

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating. Many displaced residents, like 19-year-old Iman al-Bardawil, struggle to find food. She said, “People are forced to rely on charity kitchens.” Another resident, Saed Abu al-Jidyan, lamented, “There is no food left. Borders are closed, and salaries are frozen.”

Israel blocked humanitarian aid and cut power to Gaza in early March. The Israeli attack has worsened conditions, affecting 2.4 million people. The lack of electricity has also shut down Gaza’s main water desalination plant, creating an even more severe crisis.

Hamas confirms death of political leader:

An Israeli airstrike hit a camp in al-Mawasi. The Israeli airstrike killed senior Hamas official Salah al-Bardawil and his wife. According to Hamas, Bardawil was a high-ranking political leader. He was a former spokesperson of Hamas.

Israel has targeted several other Hamas figures in recent attacks. In addition to Bardawil, Hamas confirmed the deaths of interior ministry head Mahmud Abu Watfa and security official Bahjat Abu Sultan. Another strike killed Mohammed Hassan al-Amur, the bodyguard of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

Pope calls for ceasefire:

The Pope appealed to Israel to end its assault on Gaza. He, however, asked for peace talks with Israel. He also stressed on the release of prisoners. The Gaza health ministry reported that at least 637 Palestinians have died since the latest attacks began.

Several global leaders have condemned the violence and called for negotiations. Many nations are pushing for a truce to prevent further loss of life. Despite several International calls to stop the war, Israel continued its assault and even intensified its massacre in Gaza. The humanitarian crisis deepens with no signs of a ceasefire.
