The Indian government showed its full support to Afghanistan’s health center and refugees without any political conflicts.

On Wednesday, India’s foreign ministry passed a statement in which the ministry said that India is with Afghanistan for future developmental projects. Despite the political instability between the countries, India is ready to support Afghanistan in this tough time.

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held a meeting in Dubai. In a statement passed after the meeting, it was decided that India would provide first-hand support to the health sector and for the rehabilitation of refugees.

No matter how much political instability lies within the nations, India will support Afghanistan. After getting an aid appeal from the Afghan government, India warmly sent several shipments, including medicines, wheat, COVID-19 vaccines, clothes and all.

In 2021, the Afghan Taliban came to power. However, India did not accept the Taliban’s regime. Even India closed its embassy in Kabul right after their sworn-in ceremony. In November 2023, Afghanistan’s embassy was closed due to the failure of Visa extension from Indian hosts by the diplomats appointed by the Afghan government.
