In addition “Sindh, sections of Balochistan, and central/south Punjab, temperatures are expected to stay between 04 and 07 degrees Celsius above average”.

It is expected that “temperatures would rise to 48 degrees Celsius in Sibi, Dadu, and Nawabshah, and 46 degrees Celsius in Sukkur and Turbat districts.”

According to the Met Department’s weather forecast, the highest temperature might be “43 degrees Celsius in Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan, 42 degrees Celsius in Multan, 41 degrees Celsius in Sahiwal and Sargodha, and 40 degrees Celsius in Lahore”.

The population, particularly women, children, and older citizens, have been encouraged to take precautions due to the rising temperatures in the country’s central and southern regions. Steer clear of the sun during the day and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
