According to a report, (3) people have been charged by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) with disseminating false information regarding the Jaffar Express attack.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Islamabad filed (3) complaints under the “PECA Act against Ahmad Noorani, Shafiq Ahmad Advocate, and Aina Durkhanai”.

The FIRs claim that after the attack, the individuals raised hatred in opposition to national institutions by circulating anti-state propaganda online. They utilized their recognized social media profiles to promote a bans group and generate public doubt.

According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) official, the agency is doing more research to find more accounts that are communicating harmful propaganda.

Mission Jaffar Express Is A Difficult Operation

The official said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is stepping up its efforts to deal with cybercrimes, namely targeting hate speech and disinformation on the internet.

Approximately “1 PM on the 11th of March 2025 the Jaffar Express was the target of an IED explosion, which forced the train to stop, according to DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

According to him, “(3) troops lost their lives when the BLA attackers, who had been divided up into several groups, 1st attacked a neighboring FC position. Some then ordered passengers to depart and collected them on the ground, while another group took women and children bound inside the train”.

The Jaffar Express tragedy happened in a very difficult and separated location, which made the security operation more difficult, according to DG ISPR.
