Still, ISPR said that (24-year-old) Captain Hasnain Akhtar of District Jhelum bravely led his soldiers from the front during a bloody firefight, accepting martyrdom.
According to the military’s media wing, Captain Husnain was a great officer who was well-known for his bravery, confidence, and daring actions during earlier missions.
The killed Khwarij was also found to have guns and ammo during the operation. He continued to be actively involved in a number of terrorist attacks against law enforcement departments and the targeted murder of innocent civilians. Since Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the nation and the sacrifices made by our fearless young officers only serve to fortify our determination, a sanitization operation is underway to completely remove any remaining Kharji in the region.
