According to reports, the administration of Balochistan has made the decision to take severe measures against government workers who engage in anti-state propaganda and actions.

A high-level conference with administrative officers was handled by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while the Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan were also present. The province’s state of law and order was the main topic of discussion.

“All commissioners and district officials were directed by CM Sarfraz Bugti to act immediately against government workers who engage in anti-state propaganda, narratives, and actions.”

In order to closely monitor their activities, he added, anti-state elements will consist of the 4th Schedule.

Meanwhile, in order to promote national unity, the summit also underlined how crucial it is that the national flag be raised and the national song be sung at all provincial educational institutions.

If heads of educational institutions that are not following these directions must step down, according to Chief Minister Bugti.

Strict Instructions

Additionally, he issued a warning against “bribery at any security checkpoints, stressing that any SHO or Levies officer found to be involved in such behavior would be fired when reports were confirmed”.

President Asif Ali Zardari had earlier pointed out the government’s determination to defeat terrorist groups at all costs and guarantee Balochistan’s long-term stability and progress. The president highlighted the danger posed by terrorists who are looking to divide the country while sitting over a conference on the state of law and order in Balochistan.
