Apple stated on 8th of January that it has never sold Siri data to 3rd parties for any reason, nor has it ever utilized it to create marketing profiles or make it accessible to advertising. After electronic media users and critics thought of the settlement as confirming the truth of the charges, Apple released the statement.

According to the Cupertino, California-based company’s statement, Siri uses the least amount of data possible to provide an accurate result only in situations where specific characteristics need input in real time from Apple servers.

Apple stated that it will keep creating tools to make Siri more and more private. “Apple does not keep audio files of Siri exchanges as long as users specifically request it to help develop Siri, except that then, the tapes are used strictly for that purpose,” the company stated.
