Sarfaraz Ahmed, a skilled cricketer and past leader of Pakistan, has been named the Quetta Gladiators’ team director in a major move advance of the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL-10) season.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, who guided the Gladiators to their single PSL championship in 2019, will now embark on a new chapter in his relationship with the team by taking a leadership position off the field.

Since the league’s founding in 2016, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the previous captain, has been an important part of the Quetta Gladiators. Whereas in between (2016 and 2019), the squad made it to (3) finals under his leadership, defending their standing as one of the PSL’s most reliable teams.
