Pakistan To Host England Cricket Team For 2025 Champions Trophy

According to sources report on Tuesday 18th of Feb 2025, the England cricket squad has landed in Pakistan to play in the International Cricket Council Champions Trophy 2025.
Pakistan, the host and current champions, will play New Zealand in the opening match of the 9th edition of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Karachi’s National Bank Stadium on the 19th of February.
Under the leadership of captain Jos Buttler, the team, which included (31) players and personnel, arrived in Lahore after passing through Dubai. The squad has also been joined by Managing Director Robert Key and Head Coach Brendon McCullum.

The team’s first game against bitter rivals Australia is set for the 22nd of February at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
On the 26th of February England will play Afghanistan in their 2nd group-stage match at Gaddafi Stadium.
South Africa and England will play each other in the final group match at Karachi’s National Stadium on the 1st of March
Ahead of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) 2025 Champions Trophy, the Australian cricket squad traveled to Pakistan. Coaches, captain Steve Smith, and support personnel were among the (17)member team that arrived in Lahore via Dubai. The Australian team does not include all-rounder Mitch Marsh (back), captain Pat Cummins (ankle), or Josh Hazlewood (hip). Australia’s Champions Trophy campaign will begin on the 22nd of February at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore against bitter rivals England.
