To encourage tourism, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has chosen to set up picnic areas in dam locations around the province.

These picnic areas will first be constructed at “Naryab Dam in Hangu, Kundal Dam in Swabi, and Chatri Dam in Haripur district”, according to Habibullah Arif, Director General of the Tourism and Culture Authority.

He stated that the project is an important part of a larger mission to improve the infrastructure for tourism and the experience of tourists at well-known locations around the province.

Offering top-notch facilities to visitors is one of the government’s top goals, according to the director general of the Tourism and Culture Authority.

“We are working to create picnic areas at different dams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so that visitors can easily and comfortably enjoy these beautiful locations,” he continued.

According to him, the picnic places will include “walking paths, tuck shops, bathrooms, and other things to do” so that guests may take in the beauty of nature.

Students attending government schools were formerly banned from participating in educational field adventures and picnics by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department.

All government schools in the province were instructed not to take kids on field adventures, tours, or picnics for instructional purposes by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through a notification. Government school officials are not permitted to take children on instructional field outings, tours, or picnics, according to the notice sent to all DEOs and the combined districts. The restriction must be strongly applied by all District Education Officers.
