Iran’s Supreme Leader Vows Resistance As Hypersonic Missiles Strike Israel

TEHRAN: On Wednesday, Iranian President Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Iran will never surrender to Israel and the United States.
Khamenei declares ‘Never Surrender’:
The Iranian leader made it clear that the country will not step back from its decision. On Wednesday, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, delivered an address amid escalating conflict with Israel. He stressed that Iran would never surrender, even as the Iranian military launched a wave of hypersonic missiles against Israel.
He also criticized Trump on his stance for Tehran’s ‘unconditional surrender’ as UNACCEPTABLE. In a televised speech, he said, “This nation will never surrender. America should know that any military intervention will undoubtedly result in irreparable damage.”
Missiles and counterstrikes intensify:
Israel claimed that it had attacked Iran’s internal security headquarters in Tehran. Israel also confirmed that further strikes are targeting missile systems and storage facilities in western Iran. After that, Iran launched a swarm of missiles at Israel.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Israeli airstrikes damaged buildings in Karaj, which produced advanced centrifuge components for Iran’s nuclear program. The statement stated, “One building was hit where advanced centrifuge rotors were manufactured and tested.”
Iranian internet shutdown amid rising tensions:
Iran enacted a near-total national internet blackout. The Fars News Agency reported that the stricter restrictions were enacted because of Israeli use of Iranian communications infrastructure. The News Agency said, “The aggressor’s abuse of the country’s communication network for military purposes.” The blackout began at the onset of Israel’s air campaign. It is crippling digital communications nationwide.
Heavy Casualties on both sides:
In an Israeli airstrike on Iran, over 224 deaths have been recorded. It includes their top key leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. Israel hasn’t updated its death toll since Sunday. Netanyahu’s office puts losses at a minimum of 24 fatalities and hundreds wounded. In Iran, food and fuel shortages are reported in several cities. The deadly exchanges have triggered mass evacuations, with diplomats and dual citizens being flown out of Israel and Iran.
Netanyahu’s justification amid nuclear allegations:
Israel is trying to justify its actions of attacking Iran. It is saying that the country does not want to see Iran acquire nuclear weapons. Israel itself keeps nuclear ambiguity. Israel asserts its strikes were surgical. It targeted only military and nuclear infrastructure, not civilians.
French President Emmanuel Macron urged Israel to halt strikes that do not relate directly to nuclear or ballistic missile programs. He said, “Israel must cease strikes on targets not linked to nuclear activities or ballistic missiles.”
