Erdogan Gifts Turkish Electric Vehicles To Zardari and Shehbaz

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received Turkish-made electric vehicles, known as “Togg,” from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday 13th of Feb.

The “Togg SUVs”, which reflect the close regional connections between the two countries, were displayed during Erdogan’s official visit to Pakistan. To experience the car’s characteristics firsthand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also joined Erdogan on a test drive.

Many Agreement Signed

In the meantime, (24) agreements, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and protocols were signed by Pakistan and Turkey to strengthen their relationship and increase collaboration in a variety of areas. On Thursday 13th of Feb, the “signing ceremony” took place at the Prime Minister’s residence in Islamabad.

While (4) Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed to strengthen cooperation in the defense sector, along with (2) MOUs and a protocol in the mining, power, and energy sectors.

Both nations signed (2) agreements in the areas of water and seed production, (2) memorandums of understanding in scientific education and training, and (3) memorandums of understanding to advance cooperation in the trade and industrial sectors.

Additionally, (2) Memorandums of Understanding were signed between Pakistan and Turkey in the banking sector, (1) for the promotion of mutually beneficial relationships in religious services and education, and (1) for halal food.

With remarkable characteristics including quick charging, a (500-kilometer) range, and cutting-edge safety measures, the Togg electric car is a noteworthy product of Turkey’s automotive sector. It is also important to note that the Togg facility, which produces these automobiles, is outfitted with cutting-edge machinery, namely (250) robots that are essential to the manufacturing process.
