Government Grants Two Holidays For Hindu Workers

In honor of the Hindu celebration of Holi, the Sindh government declared a (2) day weekend for its Hindu workers.
A notice posted here states that Hindu workers in Sindh would celebrate Holi by taking “Thursday and Friday off”. This action is regarded as an act of acceptance and goodwill for the province’s Hindu minority.
Additionally, the Mumbai police in India have given a strict warning that will be in force until March 18, 2025, for anybody celebrating Holi during Ramadan. Given the holy month of Ramadan, the recommendation advises exercising careful planning and moderation throughout the festivities.

Although the government has not yet made an official declaration, extra vacations may be planned in Pakistan in honor of Eid-ul-Fitr.
On March 30, 2025, there is a “good chance of seeing the Shawal 1446 AH moon”, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). It was thought that Eid-ul-Fitr would be observed on March 31, 2025, and that Ramadan might go on for (29) days this year. ” If Eid-ul-Fitr falls on a Monday, March 31, the vacations will start on Monday as Eid holidays usually start one day prior to the actual Eid day”.
