The Saudi Supreme Court confirmed that the crescent moon of Zill Hajj was visible on Thursday evening, the 6th of June. As a result, the Islamic calendar’s last month, Zill Hajj, begins on Friday, the 7th of June. According to a detailed announcement from the Saudi Supreme Court, Arafat Day is on Saturday, the 15th of June while the 1st day of Eid-ul-Azha is on Sunday, June 16.

Depending on the news agency, Arafat Day will take place on the 9th day of Zill Hajj, which is the 15th of June. Also, the holy month begins on the 7th of June with the 1st day of Eid-ul-Adha happening on the 10th day of Zill Hajj. Regarded as 1 of the 5 pillars of Islam is the Hajj. According to Tawfiq al-Rabiah, “the Saudi minister in charge of the hajj and Umrah, stated during a news conference on Thursday 6th of June that around 1.2 million pilgrims from different countries of around the world are currently present in Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj,” according to a reporter.
