The Pakistan Nursing Council Will Be Digitalized, According To The Federal Health Minister.

In order to guarantee effectiveness, merit, and honesty in all of its activities, Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal stated that the Pakistan Nursing Council would be completely digitalized.

The Federal Health Secretary and Additional Secretary attended a crucial meeting on the PNC’s affairs, which was led by Federal Minister of Health Syed Mustafa Kamal. Speaking at the event, the Federal Health Minister underlined that in order to reduce human involvement and get clear of errors, the Council’s operations will soon be digitized.

Mustafa Kamal declared, “We will rebuild the nursing profession’s damaged confidence and make the Pakistan Nursing Council an effective, efficient, and internationally respected organization.”

The Minister pointed out the critical role that nursing plays in Pakistan’s healthcare system and the urgent need for more nurses. There is now a lack of around “900,000 nurses” in Pakistan, compared to about “2.5 million” certified nurses worldwide.

Further he underlined the government’s resolve to support the nursing profession with extensive reforms, strong regulations, and cutting-edge digital tools.

Each of the most important foundations of the health industry is nursing, Mustafa Kamal added, and significant efforts are being made to join the profession with global standards.

In order for Pakistan’s nursing staff to satisfy demands from both domestic and foreign markets, he continued, “We will update the nursing sector, guarantee merit-based policies, and apply beneficial reforms.”
