In an effort to streamline identification registration procedures, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a significant improvement to its Pak-ID mobile application.

The latest improvements are designed to make people’s lives easier, particularly for parents of little children.

The Pak-ID app was recently updated to enable parents to upload photos straight from their mobile gallery when submitting an application for a “kid under 3’s identity card/kid Registration Certificate (CRC)”, according to NADRA.

User Centric Features

With this update to the Pak-ID mobile app, there is no longer a need to physically visit NADRA offices and stand in long lines. A number of improvements have been made to the user-centric feature, such as :

  • An improved Urdu interface that improves Urdu language support
  • Guarantees more detailed direction
  • More efficient navigation for native speakers
  • Family record updates that assist citizens in updating the records of unregistered family members straight through the app
  • Cost-free biometric login that allows application submission without fingerprint/facial verification
  • Raising availability for users with limited biometric authorization.

Strategy To Improve Services

As part of its strategy to improve services under the Pak Identity program, NADRA is making improvements. This includes functions including:

  • Real-time ID tracking
  • Scheduling appointments at NADRA centers, and
  • Online fee payment using services like e-Sahulat, JazzCash, and Easypaisa.

To fully take use of these new features, NADRA is urging everyone to download or upgrade the Pak-ID app, which is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.

Citizens can now check the progress of their applications online thanks to a new feature that the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) included in its updated Pak-ID mobile application.

Meanwhile, citizens can now obtain or update their identity documents without having to go to NADRA centers thanks to this innovation. The Pak-ID mobile app now offers all services associated with “CNICs, B-Forms, and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs)”.
