The health budget for 2024–2025 includes Rs27,000 million from the Pakistani government.
For the fiscal year (2024 to 2025), the federal government has set up (Rs. 27,000 million) for the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), which includes (14) new and (27) current programs run by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination. Out of the overall distribution, (Rs 19,868.670 million) has been set away for fresh programs and (Rs 7,131.330 million) for continuing ones, as per the budgetary report that was made public on Wednesday 12th of June 2024.
For the Prime Minister National Programme for the Complete Removal of Hepatitis C Infection, the government has set apart (Rs 5,000 million), and for the Prime Minister National Programme for the Control of Diabetes, (Rs 2,000 million).In this regard, it set aside (Rs 3,000 million) to create Stroke Therapy and Expand Critical Care Facilities at PIMS hospital while (Rs 2,050 million) to purchase infrastructure for the development of a cancer hospital in Islamabad. The Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC), in Islamabad, has set apart (Rs 1,500 million) for the improvement and stabilization of cardiology along with other facilities, while (Rs 550 million) for the Sehat Sahulat Programme (SSP), Phase no 2.

Similarly, (Rs 800 million) has been set apart for the construction of (200) emergency as well accident beds at PIMS (PC-II), along with (Rs 307 million) for the purchasing of brand-new electro-medical machinery to replace older and overworked equipment to improve and expand medical care. Whereas amounts of (Rs 1,060.093 million) and (Rs 609.649 million), respectively, have been set apart for the construction of a cancer hospital in Islamabad and the renovation of the radiology department at Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore.
