Significant loss for Pakistan before the test series against Bangladesh
Just before the start of the Pakistan Test series versus Bangladesh on August 21, Pakistan suffered a significant blow on Monday 19th of August 2024. Aamir Jamal, a (right-arm) fast bowler, has been left out of Pakistan’s Test team for the series versus Bangladesh. According to details Aamir Jamal first saw action in the Test team while he was awaiting a medical clearance. He should concentrate on his recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has instructed.

Following that Aamir Jamal, a fast bowler with a right arm, has been cut from the Test team in advance of the Bangladesh series. On the other side, Aamir Jamal has been told to improve his physical condition at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. He was previously selected for the team, pending receiving clearance for play. According to the statement, Aamir Jamal is recovering from a back ailment he received while participating in a county match this year. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) declared on Sunday 18th of August that Rawalpindi, rather than Karachi, will host the 2nd Test between (Pakistan and Bangladesh).
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) explained in a statement on the 18th of August that the National Bank Stadium Karachi’s current building and restoration projects were the reason for the decision. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) release, “Immediately following talking with everyone involved and analyzing operational and logistical issues, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chose to host both Tests in Rawalpindi, knowing that renovation must go on unbroken to make sure the venue is functionally prepared to host the International Cricket Council Champions Trophy 2025.
