Thanks to his outstanding batting form, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan recently added an additional star to his cap and joined a select group of Pakistani batsmen who have accomplished this.
He becomes the third player to score more over “1500 runs” in a calendar year after hitting “24 off just 15” deliveries, joining “Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shan Masood”. In his “35th innings” of the season, he achieved the milestone.
“Only Shan Masood, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan had surpassed the 1,500-run mark in a calendar year before Farhan.”

While, Rizwan accomplished it in (2021 and 2022), Shan accomplished it in (2022), and Babar accomplished it three times (2019, 2021, 2024). Farhan’s 2025 total highlights his consistency throughout forms and competitions, as evidenced by his performances for “Islamabad United, Peshawar Region, and Pakistan”.
