US shows its intention of resolving the energy situation in Pakistan
The United States (US) has underlined its intention to support Pakistan in dealing with its energy issue, with a US State Department official highlighting cooperation in the energy sector as a top priority. Matthew Miller, expressing the US State Department, pointed out the US’s significant contribution to enhancing Pakistan’s energy from renewable sources capacity by 4,000 megawatts.
He claimed that such programs have increased Pakistan’s energy production potential, allowing it to provide electricity to millions of families. Additionally, he also stated that both nations have agreed to collaborate on dealing with the Green Program, which aims to address issues relating to the environment, notably water management. Both countries are also working together on projects that support climate-friendly agriculture and sustainable energy procedures, improving their relationship in fighting climate change and supporting equitable growth.

“As the Assistant Secretary stated the previous week, we disagree with this pipeline going ahead,” he remembered. Just a few months earlier, the Pakistani caretaker administration authorized the completion of the Pakistan-Iran pipeline project. Fortunately, following this permission, the US formally raised concerns with Pakistan. After hearing American concerns, Pakistan delayed the project’s completion once more. In answer to a query, Miller criticized the terrorist attack on Chinese engineers in Pakistan, saying, “We object to the attack on a convoy of Chinese engineers in Pakistan.
