Rain-related happenings in Balochistan resulted in two deaths and twenty injuries
In the Dera Bugti area of Balochistan, several rain-related accidents resulted in at least two fatalities and other injuries, according to a statement from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). The Provincial Disaster Management Authority report states that in the Sui region of Dera Bugti, severe rains caused two fatalities and twenty injuries. According to the source, most of the injured are believed to be in critical condition. In this manner, hospitals declared emergencies in order to treat the injured party following the rain.

A number of electrical poles collapsed in Dera Bugti, leaving much of the region without energy. In addition to sending relief supplies and medical personnel to the impacted areas, the district administration and PDMA are keeping an hourly eye on the situation. According to PDMA’s report, the Pakistan Army, FC, and Provincial Disaster Management Authority have started rescue operations in the affected regions and have relocated people to safer locations. The meteorological service predicts rain and wind/thundershowers in the districts of (Lasbella, Khuzdar, Awaran, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Zhob, and Barkhan) in Balochistan on the 26th of June and 28th of June.
