In Muscat, Bookings for Public Parking are now Electronic
The Muscat Municipality has streamlined and improved efficiency by providing businesses and organizations with an easy-to-use online platform to make or reconfirm reservations for public parking. According to details businesses could speed up approvals and save paperwork by using the digital service to submit necessary papers and instruments electronically.
Businesses and organizations wishing to utilize the service must send a (titled request letter, a copy of the area design and title deed, a business registration, and a no-impediment letter) from the owner of the property to the Parking Management Department.

In addition, location-specific renewal costs range from (OMR 50) per parking spot per month in parking fee-enabled regions to (OMR 30) per parking space per month in parking fee-free areas. The Muscat Municipality launched this digital project intending to provide better general services to the companies and organizations that operate in the city. At the same time, the municipality is saving businesses and organizations time and money by streamlining the process of getting or upgrading public parking reservations by offering a user-friendly and effective online platform.
