ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Parliamentary Committee of the PTI urged Imran Khan to make a plea to the overseas Pakistanis to put their efforts into easing flood victims. PTI claimed that the overseas are not supporting in times of need.

The party also acted upon the move of Imran Khan to boycott the by-elections and resign from the parliamentary committees. The party has agreed to do so to make the world aware that diplomacy no longer exists in this country.

Asad Qaiser confirmed to the news agency that Barrister Gohar Ali Khan met with Imran Khan. He also confirmed that Imran Khan does not want by-elections and asked the PTI members to boycott them and resign from the significant positions in the NA.

He said, “However, as the international community has hardly shown any interest in supporting the flood victims, the committee decided to urge Imran Khan to appeal to overseas Pakistanis to donate funds for their support.”

Qaiser responded to a question and said the overseas Pakistanis have to transfer their funds to the KP government or the PTI charity organisation. However, the funds would be used to help the flood victims of Punjab and KP.

He also warned, “We fear that the crops will be badly affected due to floods, and next year there will be enormous pressure on the rupee as the government will have to import food items including wheat and rice.”

He also replied to other questions. He said that the members would attend the parliament and the Senate session and then walk out in protest. He also expressed his disappointment with the country’s current situation.

He said that Pakistan lacks diplomacy, and there is no freedom of speech left in the country. That is why the party has decided to boycott the elections, which are nothing but entirely based on the fraudulent activities played by the playful and deceitful minds.

PTI also arranged a media talk with Ali Amin Gandapur at the KP house in Islamabad. Unfortunately, the meeting could not take place due to the torrential rain at the time. Media persons were later informed that the meeting could not take place due to the harsh weather conditions.
