NA Reports 5,402 Pakistani Beggars Deported Abroad

On Wednesday !4th of may 2025 a large number of deported Pakistani beggars from all over the world were presented to the National Assembly (NA) by the Ministry of Interior.
A written response from the Ministry of Interior states that “5,402 Pakistani beggars have been deported from other nations since 2024”.
In addition the NA received a letter informing them that Pakistani beggars had been deported from “Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman”.

Whereas “4,850 Pakistani beggars” were deported from other countries in 2024, namely “4,498 from Saudi Arabia and 242 from Iraq”.
Meanwhile, “49 beggars from the United Arab Emirates and 55 from Malaysia were deported from Pakistan”.
However “552” Pakistani beggars were deported from overseas in 2025. Of them, “9 were deported from the United Arab Emirates and 535 were deported from Saudi Arabia as Pakistani beggars”.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, “5” beggars were also deported from Iraq.
While “3” female beggars who were en route to Saudi Arabia under the cover of Umrah pilgrims were previously transferred by the Federal Investigation Agency at Karachi airport.
The FIA spokeswoman stated that FIA-Immigration detained women after inspecting them at the Karachi airport.
The FIA crew discovered during the inspection that the women were traveling for Umrah without hotel reservations or return tickets. According to the officials, the girls were also offloaded at the Lahore airport before this.
