On Friday 3rd of October 2025, a meeting about Pakistan’s economy and foreign investment was hosted by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday.
The general state of the economy, the encouragement of foreign direct investment, and current and planned development initiatives were all thoroughly examined during the discussion.
Govt Primarily Goal
He stated that stabilizing Pakistan’s economy on a solid basis was the government’s primary goal. He went on to say that the private sector will play a significant role in economic planning and that their involvement should be guaranteed.
Further Prime Minister gave important departments and organizations instructions to make sure that all facilities were available to foreign investors. He noted that foreign investors’ confidence in the Pakistani economy showed up in the current uptrend in the economy.
According to the prime minister, Pakistan will become a desirable location for investment in the area through openness, the creation of economic policies that respect to international norms, and the swift execution of those policies.
Apply Something Fresh In The Economy
He went on to say that the administration will take advantage of every investment opportunity to boost employment and public welfare. “Our continuous policy of financial and economic reforms has given the economy something fresh, and thanks to this development and honesty, the country is on the right track of development,” the Pakistan’s PM stated.
“Part of our policy was to encourage both investment and trade,” he continued. Current projects in the fields of (energy, infrastructure, information technology, and industry) were presented to the gathering.
Meanwhile (Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Energy Minister Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, Environment Minister Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Khan Cheema, Food Security Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, and Minister for Communication and Privatization Aleem Khan) were among those in attendance.
