During a recent public speech in Rajasthan, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made unjustified, aggressive, and dangerous statements that Pakistan has completely denied.

In a statement released on Friday 23rd of May 2025, the Foreign Office said the comments, which are full of falsehoods, challenging language, and distortions, are obviously intended to create regional tensions for short-term political advantage.

It said that such remarks not only show a wrongful effort to deceive the public, but they also go against the rules of responsible statecraft.

Serious Violation

It is a serious violation of the United Nations Charter and accepted norms of international law to use threats and boast about taking armed action against a sovereign state. Peace and stability in the region are threatened by this risky strategy.

Pakistan continues to be a reliable and engaged partner in the international war on terrorism, according to the Foreign Office.

Any suggestion that attempts to link Pakistan to terrorist activities is openly untrue and misleading. This strategy is frequently used to avoid criticism of India’s domestic problems, especially its harsh practices in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

The statement said that the world community is becoming more aware of India’s well-documented efforts to use Pakistan as a victim in order to conceal its severe violations of human rights in IIOJK. Political avoidance and strong language cannot cover up the suffering of the Kashmiri people and their just fight for self-determination.

The Indian leadership was asked to be responsible and controlled by the Foreign Office. Belligerent posture and raising remarks achieve nothing but increase tensions.

India Should Show Maturity

Meanwhile India should show maturity by settling remaining disputes peacefully and diplomatically rather than using false narratives and negative talk to gain political advantage.

It said that Pakistan is still strongly dedicated to constructive engagement, regional stability, and mutually beneficial relations. But we must not mistake our wish for peace for weakness.

Pakistan’s military forces and people are ready and competent to protect the country’s land rights and independence.

It said that an uncompromising and proper response would be given to any mishap or hostility. Pakistan has previously shown its commitment and will do so once again if necessary.

India’s aggressive actions and cruel language harm regional peace, the Foreign Office encouraged the international community to take it seriously. To maintain stability in South Asia, such statements and behavior must be discouraged. No one gains when conflict is acknowledged; instead, communication, respect for one another, and following international law are the keys to a sustainable peace.
