According to reports, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz launched Pakistan’s first state-of-the-art Coablation Cancer Treatment Center in Lahore, bringing a painless, “60-minute” cancer treatment that doesn’t involve chemotherapy or radiation.

Reports state that this innovative institution spares patients the agony of traditional medicines by introducing a cutting-edge therapeutic approach that eradicates cancer at its source in just “one hour”.

Punjab is now the first province in Pakistan to open a Coablation Cancer Treatment Center, according to Maryam Nawaz, who spoke at the opening ceremony. She emphasized that patients who are unable to pay for the treatment will receive it for free. Imported from China, the technology is now exclusive to the region, including Pakistan.

Each equipment, valued at “Rs 250 million”, needs a “$5,500 probe”. In order to finance the machines and guarantee that patients in Punjab have access to therapy, Maryam Nawaz proposed a “Rs 5 billion” allocation.

She added that Mayo Hospital has recently treated successfully five cancer patients with a system that is now functioning. Three more machines will be installed at the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital, which is now under development, and orders have been placed for equipment in South Punjab and Rawalpindi. The Chief Minister further mentioned that experiments will be carried out to treat kidney tumors with this cutting-edge technique. She mentioned that in order to operate the technology, doctors, including Dr. Shehzad, underwent specialized training in China.

The introduction of this technology, according to Maryam Nawaz, is a “ray of hope” for cancer patients in Pakistan, guaranteeing top-notch care that is painless and shows promise.

A (26-year-old) patient was given a new lease on life when doctors at Jinnah Hospital in Karachi successfully performed the hospital’s first-ever knee cancer procedure and implanted an artificial knee.

The young kid had cancer in both his lower leg and knee, according to Dr. Farukh. At Jinnah Hospital in Karachi, a group of orthopaedic and plastic surgeons performed a (4-hour) procedure to eliminate the cancer and insert a prosthetic knee.
