Pakistan And Saudi Arabia Are ‘One Front’ Against Any Aggression

Prince Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, declared the two countries to be one front against any aggressor on Thursday 18th of September 2025, reinforcing the close partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Prince Khalid bin Salman said on the social media site X: “KSA and Pakistan. To any attacker, one front. Forever and eternally. The news comes after Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif signed a “Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement” on Wednesday.
“Any violence in opposition to either of the nations shall be interpreted as to be an attack against both,” the bilateral agreement makes clear.
The importance of the agreement was emphasized in a joint statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
“The deal is meant at improving features of mutual defense cooperation among the two countries and build combined deterrence over any form of violence. It represents the similar dedication of both nations to further improve their security and to achieve harmony and safety in the region and the world.”
According to the agreement, “any attack on one nation would be viewed as an attack on both”, according to a joint statement released by the PM Office Media Wing.

The two parties discussed a number of issues of shared interest as well as the historical and geopolitical ties between the two nations.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a warm welcome and great hospitality from the prime minister and his accompanying delegation, for which he is truly grateful.
As his plane entered Saudi airspace, it was escorted by “F-15” fighter planes of the Royal Saudi Air Force, another kind gesture for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
