Mohsin Naqvi Pledges Full Support To The US for Cricket Development

On Tuesday 28th of January 2025, Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), met in-depth with Jonathan Atkeison, the chief executive officer of the USA Cricket Board, in Washington.
Mohsin Naqvi promised the USA Cricket chief executive officer at the meeting that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will fully assist and support in advancing cricket’s growth in the US. Additionally, he stated that PCB is willing to do all in its power to promote the sport in America.
Finalizing the timetable for the next cricket series among the two countries was agreed upon by both sides. The meeting’s main objectives were to improve cooperation and develop plans for advancing cricket in the US.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman took a great step by inviting USA Cricket coaches to come to Pakistan for training sessions, highlighting the two nations’ potential for collaboration in cricket growth.
Naqvi further highlighted the great prospects for cricket promotion in both countries by inviting the CEO of USA Cricket to watch Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Pakistan.
Whereas the CEO of USA Cricket conveyed appreciation for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) invitation and assistance. Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer attended the meeting as well; he was in Washington for the talks.
