Strategic White House meeting highlights broad agenda:

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, engaged in high-level discussions with Donald Trump, accompanied by Secretary of State Senator Marco Rubio and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff. According to an official Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the meeting discussed a wide range of topics, including trade, artificial intelligence, energy, cryptocurrency, and other emerging technologies.

Counter‑terrorism:

General Munir and Trump also discussed how to combat terrorist activities. The leaders reaffirmed their joint commitment to counter-terrorism cooperation. Trump praised Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts.

Field Marshal Munir offered deep appreciation for Trump’s role in the recent Pakistan–India ceasefire. He described it as the result of “constructive and result-oriented” US statesmanship. The COAS conveyed that this gesture reflects the gratitude of the Government and people of Pakistan.

The ISPR stated, “President Trump expressed keen interest in forging a mutually beneficial trade partnership with Pakistan based on long-term strategic convergence and shared interests.”

Pakistan’s military delegation joined the United States in emphasizing the importance of peaceful conflict resolution. Trump acknowledged Munir’s strategic leadership amid complex regional dynamics. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s role in broader security frameworks.
